Mini Augustins no. 4 are a pair of soft shorts, which has a simplistic look and great fit.
The pattern structure of the leg is created by using laced stitches and twisted ribbing, which brings a hint of nostalgia to the model.

Size : 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) years.
Yarn : The shorts is knitted with 2 types of yarn held together.
1. thread: Merino, Knitting for Olive (250m pr 50g).
2. thread: Soft Silk Mohair, Knitting for Olive (225 m pr 25g).
Gauge : 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch.
Amount : 1. thread: 50g ( applies to all sizes) / 2. thread: 25g ( applies to all sizes).
Needle size : Circular needles 3 + 3,5 + 4 mm ( 40 / 60 cm ).
Length, crotch depth, measured CF : 17 (18) 19 (20) 21 (22) cm.
Additional : Elastic band for the waist.
Work :Th e shorts are worked from the bottom and up - first back and forth whilst the legs are knitted, then in the round when the body is shaped.
The technique German Short Rows is used to make the shorts slightly higher in the back.The shorts are finished with a folded hem, where lastly, an elastic band must be inserted.
