Ege Hårbånd (ENG)

Size: Onesize.
The width of the hairband: After the hairband has been stuffed with carded wool, it measures approximately 8 cm in diameter. 
Gauge: 30 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch at needle size 2,5 mm (after washing). 
Needle size: Double pointed needles 2,5 mm or circular needles 2,5 mm, if the method Magic Loop is used. 
Yarn: The hairband is knitted with 2 threads held together. 
1st + 2nd thread: “Månestråle”, CaMaRose (200 m per 25 g), “Lys beige”, 9008. 
Amount: 1st + 2nd thread: 25 g in total.

Hairband: The pattern is designed to fit a hairband with a 25 mm width. 
Carded wool: When stuffing the hairband, approximately 10-15 g of carded wool is used. 
Pearls: For the hairband, approximately 30 baroque peals are used, varying between the size of 2-10 mm. 
Method: The hairband is knitted in the round in Stockinette Stitch, with a series of decreases and increases to create its shape. When the hairband have been knitted, it is stuffed with carded wool, to make it voluminous. To finish the piece, a series of baroque pearls in various sizes, are sewn on to the hairband.
