Measurements, before felting: 
Base: approx. 39 cm x 11,5 cm. 
Bag: approx. 25 cm high x 50 cm wide (when measured flat).  
Handles: approx. 40 cm high (when measured flat). 
Measurements, after felting: 
Base: approx. 31 cm x 9,5 cm. 
Bag: approx. 20 cm high x 40 cm wide (when measured flat). 
Handles: approx. 28 cm (when measured flat). 
Gauge: 9 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 10 mm.
Needles: the following needles are used when knitting the bag.
- 2 sets of circular needles 10 mm (the lengths 60 and 80 cm are recommended).
- 4 double pointed needles 6 mm (used when working the box pleats).  
Yarn: the bag is knitted with 2 threads of yarn held together. 
“Naturuld”, in colour “2250“, Hjertegarn (100 m per 100 g).
Amount: 450g in total. 
Method: the bag is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. First, the base of the bag is worked back and forth, and then sts are picked up along the edges of the base. Then, the bag is knitted in the round, and finished with a set of box pleats in each side, before the 2 I-cord handles are worked onto the upper edge of the bag. Once the bag is finished, it must be felted in the tumble dryer until the specified measurements are achieved.
